Area of writing: Novels
Genres: Fantasy,
Medieval Thriller, Crime.
Biography: Now an
analyst in the civil service, specialising in astronomy, I attempted
my first novel at the age of eleven. Almost twenty year on, I write
novels almost exclusively and enjoy the experience of getting to know
the characters my mind spins. I love to build intrigue and mystery
into my work and enjoy pieces which hold the reader in suspense.
wordcentral: Joined
wordcentral in 2009 and it's been an experience. My writing has
really developed thanks to the feedback from the other members. The
group has been patient enough to listen to re-drafts of my latest
work, positive when I'm feeling experimental, and supportive when I'm
struggling to get the words down on paper.
Pet peeves: Over use
of the word "was".
Interests other than writing: Folk music and dancing, bellringing (this is a word despite what the spell checker says), Astronomy.
